EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP IN CANADA
12th-15th October 2017
I would like to invite you for my only one Equine Photography Workshop held in Northern America in 2017. The event will take place in Canada, province of Quebec. The main purpose of this workshop is to share my gained experience with a intimate group of passionates of photography who want to broaden their knowledge in equine photography.
This workshop will be provided in English language.
Workshop price, 1.550$CAD, includes QST and GST taxes. Price includes theoretical, practical and post-processing classes. Exclusions: transport, meals and overnight stay. The spaces are on a first come first serve basis and will only be secured by a non-refundable deposit.
First day, 12th October, my prticipants are invited to my home for joined meal and theoretical class. During this meeting I will share with you my gathered knowladge while working with horses during shootings, as well as some tips on how to create your portfolio, how to work for clients, the most advantageous frames, movements and settings for our models, how promote your work and other ideal which might apply for you photographic buisness.
Following two days, 13th & 14th October, are plenned for practical training. Photo sessions will be held at horse theater "Cavaland" located in Esterel, Quebec (1 hour north of Montreal). During our sessions we will work with exciting range of models including some trick horses, a range of sizes, colours and breeds. We will work on photographs with horses in movement at liberty in open space, under artificial light, portraits with black and natural backdrop in distinct locations.. To enrich our program we have also planned costume sessions with human models.
Last day, 15th October, we will meet again in my house for post-processing classes. During a few hours of editing photos I will share with you my favourite tricks, post shoot review and in-depth advice on how to select and edit your photos. Participants will have the chance to see my photo editing on selected photos taken during this workshop.

Participants must have a basic understanding of manual and semi-automatic modes. Kit requirement is DSLR or Mirrorless with 70-200mm lens (or similar) and, but necessary, wider (35mm, 50mm or similar). Please bring with you laptop with Adobre Photoshop and Adobe Lightrom software.
